TALK COMICS INTERVIEW

Here's a link to an interview I did recently with TALK COMICS... I talk about TANK GIRL, what I'm working on now, and some future plans!

   My apologies there's been a lack of art up recently on my blog...  I'm working on a new project... SOLID GOLD DEATH MASK... so when It's ready,  I'll start putting art and sketches up!
   I also recently just did a cover for a magazine featuring one of my favourite childhood Comics characters! I can't wait to show it to you... ( and the 4 versions I didn't use! )

Also working on some cool stuff with Ashley Wood's 3A that I'll hopefully be able to tell you about soon!
So much secrecy!!!  Sheesh... what a tease...

My friend Si Spencer (Ex Deadline Editor) has organised a fab mini Con.. in his local pub (pure genius) I'll be there signing books, sketching, and selling prints... AND I'll have a handful of sketchbooks to sell (The rest are still in transit from the States)

Solano Lopez - RIP

RIP - Francisco Solano Lopez ... one of Comicdom's true talents.

I grew up reading his work, in reprints of Valiant, Lion, etc., and in all the amazing War Picture Libraries he illustrated.
 He was a powerhouse of an artist, who had a studio that produced an epic amount of work. Everything he touched was indisputably his... his inked style leaping out at the reader with it's vibrant and vital linework.
He was most famous in the UK for Adam Eterno, and Janus Stark... both great strips!

TANK GIRL - BAD WIND RISING - Hardcover out for Christmas

I just got the PDF for the hardcover of our last Tank Girl book, 'Bad Wind Rising' from my lovely editor, Steve White.

I'm really excited! I think it'll be a great package, and has some extra illos in the back, and nicely collects the whole series. I can't wait to hold one!!

Sofie and I also went through and lightened the colouring on the first issue too.. so it'll look even better! (Thanks Sof! <3)

annnd... speaking of Sofie...

Congratulations to Sofie and Chris Snelson, who just got married in Telemark, Norway... the most beautiful couple I know. <3
